“Satyabhama Devi Welfare Trust”, Bhubaneswar Odisha is registered by the sub-register, Bhubaneswar under Indian Trust Act-1882 also registered under Persons with Disabilities Act by W & CD dept., Govt. of Odisha. It is “for the Hearing Impaired (HI), By the HI and of the HI”. It is an intellectual field where each and every HI person has share. It ventures to imbibe knowledge by means of catalyst of ISL to empower the HI community and cultivates adult literacy. [It runs Satyabhama Devi Higher Secondary School for HI and Satyabhama Devi College for HI +3 courses] and Welfare of the disabled Society.
VISION
Our vision is to transact learning materials to the learners with the help of Sign Language, speech therapy audio therapy e.t.c for development of communication skills for better understanding. We also vision to achieve equal access for HI people in very spare of their lives. We are devoted and dedicated to develop the HI community, to enhance the quality of their life, provide education, promote social and cultural awareness and barrier free communication for HI.
MISSION
Our mission is to develop the talents of differently abled students particularly HI students, interpersonal relationship, communication skill, social and moral values and emotional aspects. We also mission a camaraderie where HI people have equal opportunities to be associated with all perambulate of precious life.
